Information
In the tradition of the Helpers (
Ansar) of Madina who took personal care of the migrating refugees of Makkah (
Muhajiroon) by assisting them with their re-settlement as well as moral and emotional support, the
Ansar programme seeks to reach out to and assist the New Muslims, International Students and families of remote country towns of Australia. Be amongst the
Ansar and help those families and individuals who need a helping hand as well as a lasting friendship.

The Ansaar Program aims to honour this Tradition, by being True Helpers in Australia.
The Logo
Inspired by the colours of the Traditional owners of the land of Australia, which so vividly paints the natural landscape- from the black barks, red desert and the golden beaches. The vivid colours are a symbol of the Australian landscape on which our diverse paths cross and meet as one human family. It honours the Indigenous people. In our shared Tradition of hospitality, the Ansaar program seeks to reach out and share the responsibility of helping the human family across the Australian landscape we share.
The Program
It is simple- commitment to the human family! There are three particular groups of families and individuals the Ansaar Program seeks to reach out to:
- Families and Individuals from Muslim background seeking help to settle in Sydney. In particular, the immediate help is for new Muslims who seek help to find accommodation, education as well as a circle of friends for settlement and moral support.
- International Students seeking Muslim services, events and friends, whilst studying in Australia. From Halal restaurants, Mosque locations as well as social gatherings with families you can call your own, as well as tours to Australia's beautiful locations during study breaks, the Ansaar Program seeks to make your home away from home a little more comfortable.
- Families and Individuals from the outback regions of Australia. From drought stricken families, the Indigenous families, as well as families in remote areas of Australia, seeking emergency assistance, social contact , mentoring and educational support. For Muslim Australians in the outback, the Ansaar Program seeks to provide educational facilitation as well as regular contact and supply of dietary needs.
The People
An initiative of al-Ghazzali Centre for Islamic Sciences & Human Development, the Ansaar Program is a family unit of Helpers, who seek no personal benefit, other than a sense of contentment that they have played their role in touching the lives of others in a positive way. They are Witnesses to their Creator that they truly serve humanity.
Become part of the Ansaar- the true Helpers, and explore Australia, help other Australians and celebrate the human family.
