With Ramadhan of this year behind us, let not our daily worship of Allah slip behind. In this lecture presentation, Imam Afroz Ali will explain the many spiritual meanings as well as the many wisdoms of prayer (Salaat). By understanding the Inner Dimensions of Prayer, enter into Prayer with a correctly motivated concentration and seek the acceptance of your Lord. Come and learn why, for example, we say Alhamdulillah after eating food, but say Astaghfirullah after praying!

Nawawi Centre of Christchurch, New Zealand is hosting the first International Deen Intensive Retreat in Australia-Pacific. In collaboration with al-Ghazzali Centre, the Deen Intensive will host internationally renowned Shaykh Usama Canon of Zaytuna Institute and Imam Afroz Ali. The theme of the retreat is "Habits of the Effective Prophet". Limited spaces (50% of places already booked!).
Philanthropy Project
al-Ghazzali Centre's Crescent Project has successfully established its second Feeding The Homeless program in the Kings Cross / Elizabeth Bay area. This program is an interfaith initiative amongst the Muslim, Christian and Jewish communities, for the less fortunate in the Sydney region. al-Ghazzali Centre is seeking the assistance of Muslim Australians to volunteer for both the Hyde Park and Kings Cross Crescent Projects. Philanthropy Project
Al-Ghazzali Centre is undertaking a significant project in collaboration with Canterbury City Council, to regenerate fauna and flora along Cooks River. Al-Ghazzali Centre is developing a sustainable ecology program with Canterbury City Council to include the establishment, protection and maintenance of the natural ecosystems and wildlife corridor to regenerate this environmental disaster zone. Everyone is urged to join in this large project.
